What do you like most?
I appreciate that Heartpace is easy to familiarise yourself with and use as an administrator, manager and employee. Big kudos to the support team who respond quickly, are solution-oriented and very accommodating.
What do you like least?
Some functions are perceived as a bit too "locked", e.g. lacking the possibility of giving admin authorisation (HRM insight and the possibility of changing data) to selected departments. Would have liked it to be possible to get a summary/overview in Pulse for each survey mailing, not just reporting per index. Also the possibility to respond to comments in Pulse and export statistics to Excel.

What do you like most?
What I absolutely appreciate the most is the Heartpace module for salary mapping and People Analytics. We have actually tried to compare this particular part with other systems on the market, but Heartpace's module is simply hard to beat. Previously, I was stuck with huge, unwieldy Excel spreadsheets to meet the legal requirements around salary mapping, but the platform has really automated away a lot of the administrative angst. The visual overview is brilliant; their bullet point charts make it incredibly easy for me to instantly see which salaries stand out and quickly identify any unwarranted pay gaps. The job evaluation also provides a very objective and reliable basis to stand on.
What do you like least?
As someone who deals with HR issues on a daily basis, I enjoy using the platform, but our managers who only log in once a year - for example, for an appraisal or salary review - often find the interface illogical and confusing.
What business-critical problems do you feel Heartpace HR solves?
When it comes to the business-critical steps the system solves for us, it is above all our compliance and our entire payroll process that has been streamlined. The automation of payroll mapping not only minimises our administrative burden, but also ensures that we actually comply with the legal requirements of the Discrimination Act correctly. Another business-critical step that Heartpace really facilitates is the actual salary review. For us, as a slightly larger organisation, the flexibility of the system is absolutely crucial. A big plus is that we as administrators are authorised to go in and make our own changes or central adjustments directly in the platform when we reconcile the total salary budget. In many other systems, the process gets stuck if something is wrong, but here we avoid the incredibly time-consuming bottleneck of having to roll back the entire process and send the case back to the nearest manager for the smallest correction in the final phase. It gives us at HR and management level a huge amount of control over the budget and shortens the lead times of the payroll process significantly.

The analysis options and flexibility to correct data in the system after importing a file.

It's been a bit challenging to understand what data needs to be in place in order to carry out the salary survey.
