Pros

Collaboration, sparring and support are what I really value in our collaboration.
The simplicity of the indexes and how easy it is to set goals, follow up and work systematically over time - both at organisational and team/group level. It makes it easy to create a common thread in the follow-up. The tool is also user-friendly from an HR perspective as it is easy to be a superuser and to adapt arrangements to the needs of the business, including work in matrix organisations. What I appreciate most is the clear methodology for follow-up at team/group level. It gives managers concrete conditions to work on development in their teams, for example around psychological safety and cooperation, while HR can support a more long-term development of leadership and culture. The combination of data-driven insights and a structured approach supported by OBM makes it easy to translate results into actual and concrete change.
CatalystOne gives you great freedom to make changes yourself, making it possible to customise HR processes to your own needs. It offers fast support and a community platform where you can find information and inspiration for what you want to create or develop in the system.
CatalystOne has recently given their interface a facelift, bringing the design into the 21st century. This reflects a broader effort over the past year to significantly strengthen product development—not only in terms of aesthetics, but also functionality. We highly value this continuous development. In addition, their support team is very responsive, with most requests either resolved or at least initiated within 1–2 working days. This level of service is greatly appreciated.

Cons

A lot of manual work in setting up teams in the system. And challenging for teams where there is not much feedback due to too few participants in the team.
For organisations that are new to the approach, time may initially be needed for training, both for HR and managers, to understand the methodology behind the measurements and how to actively follow up the results in order to translate the insights into concrete behavioural changes in everyday life. The methodology is clear, but the effect is dependent on HR and managers having the right conditions and skills to work actively with the follow-up
As a larger organisation, you may find that CatalystOne in some cases appears to have been originally developed with smaller companies in mind. Several modules are tied to certain standard roles that don't always match the needs of a larger organisation. In addition, there are limited opportunities to work with "if" logic in workflows for onboarding, internal changes and offboarding. Overall, the workflow functionality has significant development potential - even though it works satisfactorily today.
Some functionalities and modules are not fully optimized. For example, the absence module is not particularly well suited for the Danish market, which can create occasional challenges for us. Similarly, the Salary Review module lacks flexibility for companies with commercial bonus structures, limiting its usability in that area.
