What do you like most?
CatalystOne gives you great freedom to make changes yourself, making it possible to customise HR processes to your own needs. It offers fast support and a community platform where you can find information and inspiration for what you want to create or develop in the system.
What do you like least?
As a larger organisation, you may find that CatalystOne in some cases appears to have been originally developed with smaller companies in mind. Several modules are tied to certain standard roles that don't always match the needs of a larger organisation. In addition, there are limited opportunities to work with "if" logic in workflows for onboarding, internal changes and offboarding. Overall, the workflow functionality has significant development potential - even though it works satisfactorily today.
What business-critical problems do you feel CatalystOne solves?
By adopting CatalystOne, many of our processes have become more digitally supported. Today, we have a coherent employee process from onboarding to offboarding, where no part is handled manually on paper. Everything from employment contracts and changes to performance reviews are completed in the system.

What do you like most?
CatalystOne has recently given their interface a facelift, bringing the design into the 21st century. This reflects a broader effort over the past year to significantly strengthen product development—not only in terms of aesthetics, but also functionality. We highly value this continuous development. In addition, their support team is very responsive, with most requests either resolved or at least initiated within 1–2 working days. This level of service is greatly appreciated.
What do you like least?
Some functionalities and modules are not fully optimized. For example, the absence module is not particularly well suited for the Danish market, which can create occasional challenges for us. Similarly, the Salary Review module lacks flexibility for companies with commercial bonus structures, limiting its usability in that area.
What business-critical problems do you feel CatalystOne solves?
CatalystOne serves as our “single source of truth” for HR data. All employee information is maintained and managed within the system, enabling us to easily extract data for tracking headcount development and monitoring turnover rates. We also manage our onboarding, offboarding and internal employment changes through the systems workflows to ensure standardised procedures.

What do you like most?
CatalystOne has a clear attitude to continuous improvement and is responsive to its customers' needs. This is evident both in the dialogue with us as a customer and in how the product is continuously developed over time.
What do you like least?
Some management-related actions sometimes receive less focus compared to new developments. At the same time, this is not unusual for a solution with a high rate of development and does not affect the overall impression to any great extent.
What business-critical problems do you feel CatalystOne solves?
CatalystOne enables efficient management and utilisation of HR data by seamlessly integrating the modules we use with each other, resulting in good data quality and a more coherent basis for decision-making. The solution also supports a high degree of automation, for example around digital signing of contracts and event-based integrations with other systems. This reduces manual labour and contributes to more reliable and efficient processes. At the same time, CatalystOne enables a more decentralised HR function, where managers are given the opportunity to take responsibility for on- and offboarding and own the employee lifecycle. This creates clear accountability, better quality information and a more business-centred approach.
