Sometimes you might wish the telephone helpline had slightly extended opening hours if you need help straight away.

What business-critical problems do you feel Tracezilla solves?

We have achieved full control over traceability within a highly complex manufacturing business. Using the forecasting function, we have significantly optimised our procurement and production processes. Tracezilla has enabled us to gain better control over bills of materials and production processes.

What do you like most?

The biggest advantage of TraceZilla is that the system brings all our key processes together in one place – from procurement and stock management to production, traceability, quality documentation and sales. This is particularly valuable for a company in the food ingredients sector, where batch traceability and documentation are crucial. The system gives us a clear, real-time overview of stock levels, production and product history, whilst reducing manual work and the risk of errors. Tracezilla is also highly flexible and can be tailored to our specific workflows. Combined with competent and responsive customer support, this makes Tracezilla an extremely valuable ERP solution for both the day-to-day running and the further development of our business.

What do you like least?

There is very little we don’t like about Tracezilla. As with any comprehensive ERP system, it takes a little time to familiarise yourself with all the features and configure the workflows correctly. Furthermore, some advanced reporting requirements and very specific processes may require additional set-up or support. However, the Tracezilla team is very welcoming, responsive and helpful, and the system’s flexibility more than makes up for the initial learning curve.

What business-critical problems do you feel Tracezilla solves?

Tracezilla has helped us to consolidate and organise our core processes within procurement, stock management, production, sales, quality and batch traceability. Previously, many workflows relied on separate systems, spreadsheets and manual processes, which made it more difficult to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date overview. With Tracezilla, we have achieved better traceability, more accurate stock management and access to up-to-date information on production, orders and product history in real time. At the same time, the system has reduced the amount of manual work and the risk of errors, whilst making it quicker to retrieve the necessary quality and product documentation. It has streamlined our administration, supported our food safety and IFS certification requirements, and enabled us to serve our customers more quickly and professionally. At the same time, Tracezilla provides us with a flexible and scalable platform that supports the company’s continued growth.

What do you like most?

Tracezilla offers a solution that can be configured out of the box to support some highly advanced logistics flows. In our sector, pharmaceutical logistics, there are very strict compliance requirements. Everything must be documented in accordance with certifications or legal requirements, and on top of that, we have very complex logistics and pricing management. This is all something we can manage in Tracezilla thanks to the configuration and customisation options the system offers.

What do you like least?

We have been incredibly pleased with our collaboration with Tracezilla and have received excellent and highly professional service. However, I can see that there would have been some advantages to involving an implementation partner or a consultancy advisor in the process, who could have taken some of the pressure off us as project managers. tracezilla has a robust and flexible product that can be configured in great detail. It is a major advantage to have a consultant on board who is familiar with all the system’s capabilities.

What business-critical problems do you feel Tracezilla solves?

We manage all our logistics, order processing, planning, forecasting, quality control, invoicing and reporting in Tracezilla. We have detailed traceability across all our processes and a range of quality requirements that we have built into our day-to-day order processing. Our customers can access their orders themselves and view various reports that we have designed for different purposes. We have achieved a high level of automation in our workflows, which has freed up enormous resources within our business. This applies to our entire, highly advanced order logistics system, as well as the generation of reports and documentation, the calculation of forecasts and supply, quality controls, and the calculation of cost prices, contribution margins, stock value, etc.
