Pros
KPC can do anything, provided you’re willing to spend the time updating the system
KMD provides highly competent support.
During the implementation of KPC, we were well guided through the entire project, with a clear plan for when each stage should be completed and tested.
Whenever we have questions or queries, we are always met with a friendly response, and if we need to discuss ideas or seek advice on how to resolve a particular set-up, the KMD consultants are excellent to consult with regarding possible solutions, advantages and disadvantages.
We use the Payroll Control Centre (PCC) on a daily basis to continuously monitor any errors and alerts in our payroll simulations, so we can deal with issues as they arise – it’s a huge help.
The ability to integrate with many other systems is a great help with our data flow. Not least the integration with the time-recording system, but also, in particular, the ‘HR3 Connector’, which enables us to run a lean process for our data management.

Cons
Integrations from other IT systems are difficult to import into KPC
Knowledge of SAP is virtually essential for understanding, amongst other things, error codes in payroll processing. It would be beneficial to make this more user-friendly.
The performance of KPC is not always adequate when uploading large files (more than 2,000 lines) or generating large reports (for example, a payslip report for all employees covering the entire pay period). This can be resolved with workarounds, but improved performance would be an advantage.
