Pros
The group structure of Xledger, as well as the built-in reporting options. Both the Dashboard and pivoted extracts are a great help in my everyday work.
The best thing about Xledger is the dimensional model. It provides excellent flexibility in structuring, managing and reporting across company, department, project, customer and other relevant dimensions. For organisations with a need for good financial insight and control, this provides a strong basis for both efficient accounting and better management reporting. In addition, the system is perceived as robust and scalable, especially for customers with more complex financial processes.
The flexibility and ability to extract large amounts of data in different formats. That the programme is quick to use. That there is a function for everything you might need in my role to streamline work and facilitate balance reconciliations.
Have been using 24SevenOffice since autumn 2015.
What we like best about 24SevenOffice:
* The accounting system is easy to learn and use
* Can be used for all customers from small to medium-sized businesses
* Very good support
* The system is well suited to contractors and lawyers, which is our main customer group
* Reports can be printed on projects by entering into an agreement with the company's reporting organisation
* Easy import from other systems especially for lawyers

Cons
Somewhat heavy and large menu paths. The help section is also a little difficult to navigate. It is also sometimes challenging that it takes a "long" time from posting something until it is actually updated in the general ledger. This is particularly challenging at the end of a period, where you need to update the figures quickly.
Some of the functionality can be perceived as unintuitive for new users, and some setups/changes require more specialist expertise than desirable. Reporting, dashboards and user interfaces could be even more self-explanatory and flexible for managers and non-accounting users.
There is no account reconciliation function, accrual report or smooth reminder management function.
Implementation of new customers, although it goes very smoothly using imports using Excel.
