Why do companies choose you?

Why choose your software?

IAB TCF certified and part of the Google CMP Program. GDPR-ready consent, DSARs, and privacy notices in one platform. Automatically updates as EU and international privacy laws evolve.

Why choose you as a supplier?

Founded and led by privacy practitioners, not just software engineers. Multiple EU representation and GDPR partners for cross-border coverage. Continuous monitoring, not a one-time scan.

How do you position yourself in the market?

We compete less on price and more on completeness and defensibility, particularly for GDPR - clients get audit-ready documentation and EU representation support alongside the technology, which matters most when a regulator or data subject request actually arrives.

What needs and challenges do you solve for the customer?

Businesses expanding into the EU often install a cookie banner and assume they're GDPR compliant, without realizing trackers keep firing after a user rejects consent, or that required EU representative arrangements aren't in place. We catch and fix exactly that gap, including connecting clients with EU representation partners, and when a client does get a regulatory inquiry, we can produce a dated compliance audit showing what was disclosed and when.

Pros

Having multi-domain management included directly in normal pricing tiers was a massive relief for us. Other vendors constantly push you toward enterprise plans or add recurring fees for each new website. We were able to push consistent tracking banners to all our live sites right away without any hidden surcharges on our bill. That level of price transparency is really hard to find in data compliance software today.
Automating data privacy impact assessments through their built-in DPIA workflows cut down our evaluation times significantly. Instead of manually chasing departmental leads with spreadsheets, the platform routes risk questions, flags high-risk processing activities and logs mitigations automatically. It turns a historically tedious, multi-week compliance exercise into a structured, transparent process our team actually completes on time.
Clear and simple portal and interconnected modules. During the BRCGS audit, we received feedback from DNV's auditor that the quality system was clear and easy to navigate. The auditor was particularly positive about the fact that it was possible to see all history and logs for everything that had been edited and which users had made the change in the document module. The auditor also commented that the system was good because it was easy to customise for each individual company. She also commented that it was easy to extract reports according to what she asked about during the audit.
"What I like best about the Data Quality and EK system is that it's modular and flexible. We can build up the system according to our needs and adapt it to different disciplines such as ISO, HSE, quality and emergency preparedness. The solutions are perceived as well thought-out and practical to use. The system is user-friendly and suitably advanced, it has sufficient functionality without being unnecessarily complicated. The integration with Microsoft Azure means that we have continuous control over user and access management. This is perceived as a safe and very appropriate solution. The app solution is also a great strength, especially in operations where there is a need for simple registration of deviations and incidents in the field. In addition, we find the employees in Data Quality to be very helpful and solution-oriented. They are accessible, take issues seriously and contribute constructively when we want customisations or further development. It's also positive that the solutions are perceived as open and not locked into a rigid structure, which gives us room for manoeuvre to further develop the system over time.

Cons

During the initial configuration, the system runs a database indexing process without a progress bar or countdown clock. Having a concrete time estimate would make the onboarding workflow much easier to schedule for our tech team.
The initial onboarding overlay can be annoying right after signing in for the first time. Guided tooltips pop up over primary navigation menus, obscuring crucial sidebar links until you manually click through or dismiss the entire interactive tutorial.
Not relevant, this review concerns feedback from the auditor after the audit.
The help guide and user support within the system can be perceived as somewhat confusing and sometimes inadequate. It's not always easy to find specific explanations or guidance when you get stuck. At times, the system may require some assistance for customisation, setup and further development. The need for consultancy hours and additional services can become costly over time, especially if you don't have sufficient internal expertise to make adjustments yourself. As a result, the total cost may be higher than initially envisaged. There is also potential for improvement when it comes to user integration between the main system and the various modules. The transition between system level and module level can at times be perceived as less than seamless.
