Pros

The user interface is appealing and easy to use, making it simple for both staff and instructors to understand how to use the tool. The design is simple and attractive, with a modern feel. It is easy for new staff to get to grips with how the solution works. Through pre-set communications, it is possible to effectively guide staff towards completing training courses. We also see the integrations between Learnifier and our HR system as a major strength, as they save us time through the automatic transfer of user and skills data. In addition, new solutions and features are being developed on an ongoing basis, and as a customer we have plenty of scope to contribute ideas, thoughts and test cases.
Learnifier is a user-friendly and flexible learning platform that facilitates both the creation and delivery of digital training programmes. The interface is, as promised, intuitive, making it easy for those building courses to get started quickly - even without prior technical knowledge. One of the biggest strengths of the platform is the ability to cater for different learning styles by creating courses with varied content, such as videos, quizzes and reflection exercises. The platform also supports modern learning where participants can take courses at their own pace, which is particularly appreciated in our organisation where staff work around the clock. In summary, Learnifier is a pedagogically well thought-out platform that is ideal for organisations that want to work strategically with skills development.
CatalystOne gives you great freedom to make changes yourself, making it possible to customise HR processes to your own needs. It offers fast support and a community platform where you can find information and inspiration for what you want to create or develop in the system.
CatalystOne has recently given their interface a facelift, bringing the design into the 21st century. This reflects a broader effort over the past year to significantly strengthen product development—not only in terms of aesthetics, but also functionality. We highly value this continuous development. In addition, their support team is very responsive, with most requests either resolved or at least initiated within 1–2 working days. This level of service is greatly appreciated.

Cons

The reporting and analysis tools can be further developed to enable full use of all the data in the system. The automation of enrolment for refresher training courses can also be further developed to better meet the needs of larger companies with a wide range of training courses and complex refresher intervals.
I would have appreciated a more refined statistical tool to facilitate monitoring and reporting.
As a larger organisation, you may find that CatalystOne in some cases appears to have been originally developed with smaller companies in mind. Several modules are tied to certain standard roles that don't always match the needs of a larger organisation. In addition, there are limited opportunities to work with "if" logic in workflows for onboarding, internal changes and offboarding. Overall, the workflow functionality has significant development potential - even though it works satisfactorily today.
Some functionalities and modules are not fully optimized. For example, the absence module is not particularly well suited for the Danish market, which can create occasional challenges for us. Similarly, the Salary Review module lacks flexibility for companies with commercial bonus structures, limiting its usability in that area.
