Reviews

Pros

I think HR-ON is the most intuitive and user-friendly HR system I’ve used in my many years in HR. It works really well with the videos that have been created to help set up the system and use it afterwards. The system’s wide range of features also provides a great opportunity for development as required. I also really like the many options for customisation to suit the customer’s needs and the great flexibility in the set-up options.
The system meets a wide range of HR needs (recruitment, onboarding, staff management, time and absence tracking, performance reviews/annual appraisals, etc.). For us, absence tracking has been a huge benefit thanks to HR-ON. The support team are very friendly and always helpful.

Cons

HR-ON has become a bit like other HR systems, where you need to purchase additional modules to get the full benefit of the system. And it lacks a ‘built-in calculator’ for holidays and absences, so it could be used a bit more flexibly and more widely across different sectors.
There are many different configuration options, which in many ways is a very good thing, as it allows you to tailor the system to your business’s needs. Sometimes, however, this can also be a drawback, as you may end up spending a lot of time trying to find exactly where a minor adjustment needs to be made.
