Integration with Shopify.

What do you like least?

We had issues with a few products not updating their prices from Shopify after a sales campaign we ran one weekend. Customer support advised us to disconnect the integration and then reconnect it. This meant that only 300 out of 1,800 products were synchronised (they were all synchronised before this) and we then had to update every single product that wasn't synchronised. After three days with many lost sales in the store due to missing products at the checkout, we managed to synchronise about 300 products manually. After this, Zettle customer service again told us to reconnect the integration. We asked again if they could guarantee that we wouldn't lose all the products we had added manually. Hannes in Zettle's customer service said that he was 100% sure that it would now work. We reconnected the integrations and again we only got 300 products synchronised. We are now in high season in the store without a working checkout system and customer service has stopped responding to our enquiries. It's hugely disappointing to see such an abdication of responsibility. We had a small problem that became massive on the advice of Zettle's own customer service.

What business-critical problems do you feel Zettle by PayPal solves?

With Zettle without a checkout system, you can enter a free amount in order to take payment. You can't do that with a POS system, so there's no quick way to let customers pay for the items they buy in the store if the item isn't synchronised with Shopify. Zettle has been nothing but a negative experience for us and the customer service is completely absent.

Ensures that we can easily take payment without it taking up much space.
