What do you like most?

Not having to rely on you, as the system supplier, to make changes to the system, but being able to do this yourself if you have the necessary skills.

What do you like least?

You’re still assuming too much that the system will be used in a certain way – for example, that managers always do certain things, etc. – which isn’t the reality in every company. What you’re building sounds very good, but it doesn’t always feel fully thought through or user-friendly right through to the end. Let’s take ‘Actions’ as an example. To be able to use it for, say, Changes, you need to open all the tables and the manager needs to fill in all the relevant data, even for things that don’t change – not exactly user-friendly. You need to achieve better integrations with e-signing platforms. DocuSign isn’t good enough, and the development of Scrive is taking too long, which means we can’t get that workflow to run automatically. I’d also like to better understand your AI journey – how can you enable us, for example, to work with our data in new ways using AI?

What problems do you feel Sympa solves?

Data compliance and control.

What do you like most?

The system’s design makes it easy to use for administrators, managers and staff. It’s easy to generate reports. I like the fact that we can have everything from payroll and staff statistics to performance reviews all in one system.

What do you like least?

Sometimes it can feel a bit of a faff when you want to do something new in the system. Sometimes it’s a bit difficult to know who to contact at Sympa to get help.

What problems do you feel Sympa solves?

It’s easy for HR to extract statistics. We ensure that we have the right data and information throughout the entire employee journey. We make things easier for managers and employees.

What do you like most?

Everything in one place. Easy to use.

What do you like least?

In some places, the ‘view’ of the tables is limited (e.g. you have to scroll down, move the scroll bar and scroll back up again)

What problems do you feel Sympa solves?

Archiving employment records. Reminders about training courses. Reporting.
