Overview
Actnation is a digital platform for employee benefits that focuses on companies’ charitable initiatives. It is particularly relevant for HR, People & Culture and finance departments that wish to involve employees in decisions regarding donation budgets. A unique feature is the option for employees to choose which charitable causes their donations support, which fosters a visible sense of community around generosity.
Actnation lets employees decide where company donations go and enables companies to give charitable employee gifts. The company sets a donation budget, and each employee receives a share to allocate by voting. For example, if an employee has DKK 300 to allocate and votes for one cause, that cause receives the full DKK 300. Employees can then follow their contributions, while the company tracks donations and participation.al responsibility, whilst the employees’ choices recognise their commitment.
Evaluation
Actnation stores all data in a secure data centre in Stockholm, within the EU, and processes it in accordance with the GDPR. All communication is encrypted, and national identity numbers are subject to additional encryption before storage. Users log in via Microsoft, Google or by email and password. User access is restricted according to role and organisation. Support access is time-limited, and all changes are logged. Backups are stored securely with a limited retention period.
