Ekko App is an employee communication and engagement app with +40 modules, built for reaching and engaging frontline and deskless workers in construction, transport, and retail. Why do companies choose you?

Why choose your system?

Ekko app adapts to your needs, both today and in the future. In addition to communication and knowledge sharing, you can continuously add modules for HR, QHSE and IT as your needs evolve, at no extra cost. If you are missing a booking system, a chemicals database, or documentation that everyone has read important changes related to your ISO certification, that can also be built in. Future apps and systems you bring in can also be linked directly into Ekko app, so everything stays gathered in one place for the employee.

Why choose you as a supplier?

We are more than a supplier - we are a partner. Small and large customers alike use our expertise and support to continuously get increasing value from their app. Our onboarding process ensures a professionally and socially engaging platform from the start, without overloading your operations. You always get support by phone and email, in both Danish and English, and most tickets are resolved within 24 hours.

How do you position yourself in the market?

While many intranet and employee apps are built for office employees with a fixed computer and email access, Ekko app is built specifically for field employees - craftspeople, drivers, production and service employees. We position ourselves as the simple, mobile-first solution for companies with a large share of hourly-paid or non-PC-based employees, rather than heavy, office-focused intranet platforms.

That is why the app has extremely high usability, yet offers a broad product portfolio - in fact well above average. This includes QHSE, HR and onboarding, driven by features such as reporting, quizzes and surveys.

The platform is flexible and can be continuously adapted through our own page builder, completely free of charge. We have a strong focus on the working environment, and with a built-in translator and text-to-speech reader we make the app inclusive for both foreign workers and employees with reading difficulties.

With us, you are not left with a self-service solution - onboarding is personal and included in the package.

What needs and challenges do you solve for the customer?

We bring internal communication and knowledge sharing together by removing the classic barriers: IT complexity, lack of PC access, expensive Microsoft accounts and language differences. But we do not stop there - we make sure the platform is actually used. Social features create community and traffic to the app, a touch of gamification with points and highscore keeps engagement up, and practical information and shortcuts make the end user’s workflow easier. That way we deliver both need-to-have and nice-to-have features, and often end up with higher ambitions than the customer expected.

Cons

There are still a few minor features we’d like to see, but the team at Ekko app have been understanding and have tried to help us with alternative solutions. They’ve also said they’ll look into whether these features can be implemented.
Nothing in particular – everything’s just running smoothly :)
