What do you like most?

It is a very flexible system that has allowed us to customise each step of the forecasting process to our needs - and it remains easy to use and intuitive. Planacy has helped us to decentralise planning and has significantly reduced the time to collect and summarise information. Together with our BI system, the planning and analysis of our data has improved significantly compared to when we were using Excel alone.

What do you like least?

It is difficult to make changes to the system without the help of an experienced resource.

What business-critical problems do you feel Planacy solves?

Easy to create scenarios and easy to track changes in the planning process - something that was very time consuming in Excel.

What do you like most?

With Planacy, we have been able to customise a forecasting process for our various revenue streams, operating expenses and several other processes as well as for our mid-term plans. As a fast-growing multinational company, we appreciate that we can customise Planacy and adjust our solution as conditions change. The platform is integrated with our BI tool (Qlik Sense), which facilitates the loading of historical data and makes it possible to seamlessly analyse the forecast against outcomes and previous forecasts. It is easy for users to input data, provided that the data flow is clearly documented.

What do you like least?

Thanks to its flexibility, it is easy to want to replicate calculations and dependencies from complex Excel sheets even in Planacy. We therefore rethought our original approach to achieve a balanced solution with a reasonable level of detail in the calculations. Using our own resources, we have customised the system to our preferences.

What business-critical problems do you feel Planacy solves?

Planacy allows us to forecast our large number of cost centres and markets in a way that would not have been possible with our previous approach. Through the integration with our BI tool, we can analyse the forecast continuously and smoothly produce budget reports in the different phases of the process.

What do you like most?

I am very happy with Planacy as it has streamlined our budgeting and forecasting process and improved quality. The platform enables easy and secure collaboration and simplifies complex tasks. Planacy has been a valuable asset in our financial management, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their planning skills.

What do you like least?

It is important to understand that all planning logic is built into the platform. This means that if you develop complex logic, that specific logic cannot be exported from Planacy. However, you can export all the data via the Excel add-in, which is very convenient.

What business-critical problems do you feel Planacy solves?

Simple and secure collaboration that simplifies complex tasks. We no longer need to email spreadsheets with sensitive data, and Planacy takes care of version management.
