What do you like most?

Norce is a well thought-out platform for companies with high demands on assortment management, pricing and flexibility. The platform's headless and API-based architecture gives you the freedom to build exactly what you need, but what really makes a difference today is that there are now several ready-made storefront solutions built on top of Norce. This allows you to get started quickly in a cost-effective way without compromising the strengths of the architecture. The team at Norce also has a deep understanding of complex e-commerce and is good at concretising needs and guiding in the start-up, which makes a big difference in the early phases.

What do you like least?

Working with Norce still requires a certain level of technical maturity, especially if you want to take full advantage of the platform's flexibility. It is not a ready-made solution, and this requires smooth cooperation between the organisation, the partner and the platform provider.

What business-critical problems do you feel norce solves?

Norce manages large and complex assortments in an efficient way and offers support for business logic that otherwise requires a lot of customisation, such as customer-unique price lists, market-specific campaigns and assortment management. The architecture makes it easy to grow over time, both functionally and geographically, without having to change platforms.

What do you like most?

The big advantage of Norce compared to other systems in the same price range is the opportunity and flexibility that arises when you can effectively combine product information, price logic and other business rules to create customised offers, not least important in B2B flows. In our case, this involves a large number of customer-unique prices and specific ranges, there is a lot of support directly in the platform for this. Similarly, it is possible to customise efficient workflows for our teams working with product information and prices. It is possible to create good views for handover, and there are great opportunities for automation. Our developers describe it as very efficient to work in and integrate with once you understand how the information model is built. The architecture is proven and clearly API-driven. This means that you can build on your solution without being locked in. The team at Norce is perceived as accessible and very helpful, whether it is about user support, questions that arise during implementation, or if you need to discuss something that requires deep technical understanding.

What do you like least?

Norce is a platform with great potential, which also means complexity in the conceptual model and in the user interface. It takes some getting used to before users become confident in how to navigate and work effectively in the system. Despite the availability of documentation and training resources, our users find it difficult to gain a comprehensive understanding, especially at the beginning. Another recurring challenge concerns the demarcation between the standard functionality of the platform and what is customised implementation. When questions arise, it is not always clear where the responsibility lies - with the platform provider or the implementation partner.

What business-critical problems do you feel norce solves?

Norce solves several business-critical needs in our organisation. The platform makes it possible to cost-effectively create a good customer experience, from search and product display to checkout. We can customise price lists and manage assortments, automate recurring steps and efficiently distribute responsibility for logic and data between our various systems. This creates flexibility and opportunities to develop our business model as needs change.
