Pros

Norce is a well thought-out platform for companies with high demands on assortment management, pricing and flexibility. The platform's headless and API-based architecture gives you the freedom to build exactly what you need, but what really makes a difference today is that there are now several ready-made storefront solutions built on top of Norce. This allows you to get started quickly in a cost-effective way without compromising the strengths of the architecture. The team at Norce also has a deep understanding of complex e-commerce and is good at concretising needs and guiding in the start-up, which makes a big difference in the early phases.
It is a flexible platform that can be easily customised to support many different industries and business models. The integrated pim is a big plus, as everything is connected from the start, and it fulfils the pim needs of most businesses. The advanced pricing logic can also be of great help in solving challenges related to price management that often arise, especially in the B2B world.
The proximity to developers who can help. Then our order flow via EDI and web has increased from 0 to over 40,000 orders. We could never have done that without Gung.
Great opportunities to expand our item register with PIM and be able to add images, certificates and new fields that we can easily enrich and send to our customers.

Cons

Working with Norce still requires a certain level of technical maturity, especially if you want to take full advantage of the platform's flexibility. It is not a ready-made solution, and this requires smooth cooperation between the organisation, the partner and the platform provider.
Norce does not have a packaged accelerator or storefront to work from.
Gung always says yes to everything, which means we are constantly coming up with new things 😄
What I like least about Gung is that the platform has limited built-in CMS functionality. To create a public website with more comprehensive content management, we need to integrate Gung with an external CMS system or develop a separate publishing solution.
