Pros

What I like most is the close yet professional communication. When the going gets tough, we can always count on fast and helpful support. This gives us peace of mind and makes co-operation very smooth.
Affordable, simple and good support. Easy to rank on search engines and the possibility to build on with smart modules. Can also be integrated with other systems relatively easily.
Stability, scalability and technical roadmap
Intershop is a scalable solution with good performance that suits many customers. It is a solution that is possible to start small and grow with the solution.

My least favourite part is that the response time can sometimes be a bit long, and it is sometimes difficult to reprioritise so that low-hanging fruit gets a quicker turnaround. This can mean that small but important improvements get stuck in the queue.
The interface looks a bit outdated but the functionality is good so you have to live with it.
Relatively unknown, can sometimes be difficult to find resources on the technology.
In recent years, Intershop has focused on B2B, which to some extent has shifted the focus from B2C where Intershop has previously been very strong.
