Pros
To switch off the computer and go home.
There is nothing good about Cosmic unfortunately. All other systems I tried are better.

Cons
The new Cosmic is not designed with user-friendliness in mind, certainly not for us secretaries. The user interface is under all criticism with far too many clicks, there are too many menus, options and search paths to get the information we need. Programmes we could have in the background with previous medical record systems are now closed down for each patient change, which is why we have to manually log in again every few minutes. We handle a large number of patients per day in several different ways and having to log in again every five minutes in other programmes at certain times is completely unreasonably time-consuming.
We work with this click monster all day long and the dissatisfaction among us is widespread in exactly all regions that have new Cosmic. Cambio apparently lacks understanding of everyday life in healthcare if you look at how Cosmic is designed. They do not know what everyone does and to what extent it is done. Nor was it a priority to ensure that the secretaries' previously well-functioning peripheral equipment was compatible with Cosmic, we were referred straight away to a couple of Philips products that proved that neither Philips, Cambio nor people in the Sussa project have any great insight into how secretaries in healthcare work in the 2020s. They have no idea what product range is actually available from suppliers other than Philips that allows us to work without compromising either ergonomics or brain health. At the same time, the dictation lists grow and the clicks never stop, the updates create new bugs when others have been helpfully fixed. If secretaries had been involved in creating a new medical record system, Cosmic would have looked completely different and would have been better for everyone, I am convinced of that.
The lack of clarity. The non-intuitive appearance and menus. The number of clicks has doubled since the system change. The fact that it has slowed down my productivity by 20% in terms of terminal work for a year. The SUSSA regions have been in disagreement with Cambio for months about who should pay for updates. These have not been done.
